In today's world of modern technology, ancient art can be brought to life, and the result is sheer magic. The Night Revels of Han Xizai, a massive scroll painting by Southern Tang Dynasty (937–975) painter Gu Hongzhong, is one of the most famous paintings of ancient China. Thanks to a collaboration between artists like Ju Yao, a postdoctoral scholar from Tsinghua University's Academy of Arts and Design, and her mentor Lu Xiaobo, the painting was recently animated with VR and AI.
